Der Kanton Le Châtelet war bis 2015 ein französischer Wahlkreis im Département Cher und in der Region Centre-Val de Loire. Er umfasste sieben Gemeinden im Arrondissement Saint-Amand-Montrond; sein Hauptort (frz.: chef-lieu) war Le Châtelet. Die landesweiten Änderungen in der Zusammensetzung der Kantone brachten im März 2015 seine Auflösung. Vertreter im conseil général des Départements war zuletzt für die Jahre 2011–2015 Hubert Robin (PS).[1]

The Canton of Le Châtelet is a former canton situated in the Cher département and in the Centre region of France. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It consisted of 7 communes,[1] which joined the canton of Châteaumeillant in 2015.[2] It had 2,710 inhabitants (2012).[1]
