Communauté d'agglomération Chartres Métropole is an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Chartres. It is located in the Eure-et-Loir department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, northern France. It was created in January 2013. Its seat is in Chartres.[1] Its area is 858.3 km2. Its population was 136,218 in 2017, of which 38,578 in Chartres proper.[2]
