    Géographie


    Bystřice est arrosée par la rivière Olše et se trouve près de la frontière avec la Pologne, à 6 km au sud-est de Třinec, à 26 km à l'est-sud-est de Frýdek-Místek, à 39 km au sud-est d'Ostrava et à 312 km à l'est-sud-est de Prague[2].

    La commune est limitée par Vendryně à l'ouest et au nord, par Nýdek à l'est et par Hrádek au sud[3].
