Březová nad Svitavou (until 1949 Březová; German: Brüsau) is a town in Svitavy District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,600 inhabitants.

Březová nad Svitavou lies on the stretch of the Svitava river which historically marked the border between Bohemia and Moravia.
Březová nad Svitavou was founded in around 1300. In 1497, it was promoted to a town by Vladislaus II.[2]
