Ilok (in cirillico serbo: Илок; in ungherese: Újlak) è un comune croato situata su una collina che sovrasta il Danubio che in quel tratto separa la Croazia dalla regione serba della Voivodina. Nella città si trova il convento francescano, popolare meta turistica, dove morì San Giovanni da Capestrano il 23 ottobre 1456.

È il comune più orientale della Croazia e, in teoria, comprende anche l'isola di Šarengrad, contesa dalla Serbia.

Ilok (deutsch (veraltet) Illok oder Wylak, ungarisch Újlak) ist die östlichste Stadt und Gemeinde Kroatiens. Die Stadt befindet sich in der Gespanschaft Vukovar-Syrmien und sie liegt an einem Hügel oberhalb der Donau, welche die Grenze zur serbischen Provinz Vojvodina bildet. Gemäß der Volkszählung von 1991 leben in der Stadt Ilok 5897 Menschen und in der Gemeinde insgesamt 8351. In der für Tagesausflügler interessanten Stadt befindet sich ein Franziskanerkloster sowie weitere historische Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Ilok (Croatian pronunciation: [ilok]) is the easternmost town in Croatia. Located in the Syrmia region, it lies on a hill overlooking the Danube river, which forms the border with the Bačka region of Serbia. The population of the settlement of Ilok is 5,072, while the total town population is 3,407 (census 2021). The town is home to a Franciscan monastery and Ilok Castle, which is a popular day trip for domestic tourists.
