Pingtan (chinesisch .mw-parser-output .Hant{font-size:110%}平潭縣 / .mw-parser-output .Hans{font-size:110%}平潭县, Pinyin Píngtán xiàn) ist ein Kreis, der zum Verwaltungsgebiet der bezirksfreien Stadt Fuzhou der südostchinesischen Provinz Fujian gehört. Pingtan liegt im Südosten Fuzhous. Der Kreis setzt sich aus 126 großen und kleinen Inseln und fast tausend Riffen zusammen. Die Hauptinsel Haitan (海坛岛) ist die fünftgrößte Insel Chinas. Pingtan hat eine Landfläche von 370,7 km² und eine Wasserfläche von ca. 2.164 km². Die Einwohnerzahl beträgt 386.100 Einwohner (Stand: 2020)[1].[en] Pingtan County
Pingtan County (Chinese: 平潭县) is a county comprising 126 islands in the Taiwan Strait, it is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, China.
