Le xian de Gonggar (ou Gongkar) (tibétain : སྣེ་གདོང་རྫོང་ Wylie : gong dkar rdzong; chinois : 贡嘎县 ; pinyin : Gònggā Xiàn) est un district administratif de la région autonome du Tibet en Chine. Il est placé sous la juridiction de la préfecture de Shannan.

Démographie

La population du district était de 46 154 habitants en 1999[2].

Mine d'extraction

Selon le gouvernement tibétain en exil, un projet de dérivation de la rivière Gyama vers une mine d’extraction a entraîné une manifestation en juin 2009[3], et août, les habitants ont adressé une pétition aux autorités pour mettre fin à l’extraction minière dont la pollution a entraîné la mort de plus de 1000 animaux domestiques[4].

Gonggar County, also Gongkar (Tibetan: གོང་དཀར་རྫོང་།, Wylie: gong dkar rdzong, ZYPY: Konggar Zong; simplified Chinese: 贡嘎县; traditional Chinese: 貢嘎縣; pinyin: Gònggá Xiàn), is a county of Shannan in the Tibet Autonomous Region, one of the 12 counties of the prefecture. It has under its jurisdiction five towns, three townships, 43 administrative villages (neighbourhood committees) and 168 village development committees and contains notable landmarks such as the Gonggar Choide Monastery, the Zhug Dêqên Qoikor Monastery, Gangdoi Town, the Gonggar Dzong at Xoi, the Lhasa Gonggar Airport at Gyazhugling, the Tubdain Ramai Monastery and the county seat of Gyixung.[1]
