Der Stadtbezirk Wuling (.mw-parser-output .Hans{font-size:110%}武陵区, Wǔlíng Qū) ist ein Stadtbezirk der bezirksfreien Stadt Changde im Norden der chinesischen Provinz Hunan. Er hat eine Fläche von 412 Quadratkilometern[1], davon etwa 90 Quadratkilometer Stadtgebiet,[2] und zählt 745.900 (Stand:2018).[1] Im Jahr 2013 zählte Wuling etwa 600.000 Einwohner.[3] Er ist Zentrum und Regierungssitz von Changde, dessen nördliches Gebiet er darstellt. Seinen Ursprung führt man auf Zhang Ruo zurück, der vor 2200 Jahren der Kommandantur Shu vorstand und eine Stadt namens Zhangruo Cheng gründete.[4]

Wuling District (simplified Chinese: 武陵区; traditional Chinese: 武陵區; pinyin: Wǔlíng Qū) is one of two urban districts in Changde City, Hunan Province, China. Located on the central area of Changde, the district is surrounded by Dingcheng District to the north and south, bordered to the west by Taoyuan County, to the east by Hanshou County. Wuling District has an area of 289 kilometres (180 mi)[2] with 426,694 of registered population (as of 2015).[3] It is divided into 11 subdistricts, one towns and two township, its government seat is Nanpinggang Subdistrict (南坪街道).[4]
