Le district de Karuo (tibétain : མཁར་རོ་ཆུས།, Wylie : mkhar ro chus, THL : kharro chü ; chinois simplifié : 卡若区 ; pinyin : ) ou autrefois Xian de Changdu ou xian de Chamdo (昌都县, ), est un district administratif de la région autonome du Tibet en Chine. C'est le centre administratif de la Ville-préfecture de Changdu.

Démographie
La population du district était de 86 280 habitants en 1999[2].
La population est du district est de 124 354 habitants, dont 79 600 éleveurs. L'ensemble de la population est à 94,5 % d'ethnie tibétaine, le reste de la population étant composé des ethnies han、hui, miao, mongole et luoba (洛巴) au recensement de 2012[3].

Karub ist ein Stadtbezirk der Stadt Qamdo im Autonomen Gebiet Tibet der Volksrepublik China. Die Fläche beträgt 10.791 Quadratkilometer und die Einwohnerzahl 148.511 (Stand: Zensus 2020).[1] 1999 zählte Karub 86.280 Einwohner.[2] Sein Hauptort ist die Großgemeinde Chengguan. Der Stadtbezirk ging am 11. Juli 2014 im Zuge einer Verwaltungsreform aus dem ehemaligen Kreis Qamdo hervor.[en] Karuo District

Karuo has an area of 10,700 km2 and a population of 78,000, of which 90% are Tibetan. The average temperature is 7.6 °C, with average temperatures of −2.3 °C in January and 16.3 °C in July.
