Stettler (offiziell Town of Stettler) ist eine Gemeinde im südlichen Zentrum von Alberta, Kanada, die seit 1906 den Status einer Kleinstadt (englisch Town) hat.[2] Die Gemeinde liegt nordöstlich der kanadischen Badlands im landwirtschaftlich geprägten Palliser-Dreieck in der Region Zentral-Alberta und wurde nach einem der Gründerväter, dem gebürtigen Schweizer Carl Stettler, benannt.[3] Stettler liegt etwa 80 Kilometer östlich von Red Deer bzw. 220 Kilometer nordnordöstlich von Calgary, an der Kreuzung des Alberta Highway 12 mit dem Alberta Highway 56.[en] Stettler, Alberta
Stettler is a town in east-central Alberta, Canada that is surrounded by the County of Stettler No. 6. It is approximately 80 km (50 mi) east of Red Deer and 97 km (60 mi) north of Drumheller at the junction of Highway 12 and Highway 56 and approximately 183 km south of Alberta's capital city, Edmonton.
