Bezerros, amtlich portugiesisch Município de Bezerros, ist eine brasilianische Gemeinde im Bundesstaat Pernambuco. Die Bevölkerungszahl wurde zum !. Juli 2019 auf 60.798 Einwohner geschätzt, die auf einer Gemeindefläche von rund 492,6 km² leben und Bezerrenser (bezerrenses) genannt werden. Die Gemeinde steht an 27. Stelle der 185 Munizips des Bundesstaates.[2] Die Entfernung zur Hauptstadt Recife beträgt 102 km. Der Ort ist bekannt für seinen Karneval von Bezerros mit der Symbolfigur des Papangu und zu dem der in das Weltkulturerbe eingetragene Frevo[3] gespielt und getanzt wird.

Bezerros (Portuguese pronunciation: [biˈzeʁus]) is a municipality in northeastern Brazil, in the State of Pernambuco, near the city of Gravatá. Its population was 60,880 (2020) and its area is 491 km2. Also known as Papangu city, because a festive tradition in which the people dress masks of all types during the Carnival festivities. During the carnival time, it is one of the most visited cities in the interior of the state. Also, it was a center of coffee production, an activity which is no longer important in the region. It is much visited during Carnival; tourists and locals love to see papangus parading in city streets.

Входит в экономико-статистический микрорегион Вали-ду-Ипожука. Население составляет 56 518 человек на 2007 год. Занимает площадь 492,56 км². Плотность населения — 115 чел./км².
