Ponta Porã, amtlich portugiesisch Município de Ponta Porã, ist eine Stadt im brasilianischen Bundesstaat Mato Grosso do Sul. Die Bevölkerungszahl wurde zum 1. Juli 2019 auf 92.526 Einwohner geschätzt, die auf einer Gemeindefläche von rund 5330,4 km² leben und Ponta-Poranenser (ponta-poranenses) genannt werden.[2] Sie steht an 5. Stelle der 79 Munizips des Bundesstaates. In Ponta Porã wird auch Portunhol gesprochen.

De 1943 a 1946 fue capital del Territorio de Punta Porá creado por Getúlio Vargas. Posee una población de 83.747 habitantes (2013) y una densidad de 15.55 hab/km².
