Geistthal ist ein Dorf und eine Ortschaft in der Weststeiermark sowie eine Katastralgemeinde der Gemeinde Geistthal-Södingberg im Bezirk Voitsberg, Steiermark. Der Ort war von 1850 bis 2014 eine eigenständige Gemeinde. Am 1. Januar 2015 wurde sie im Rahmen der Gemeindestrukturreform in der Steiermark mit der Gemeinde Södingberg zusammengeschlossen, die neue Gemeinde führt den Namen „Geistthal-Södingberg“ weiter.[1] Die ehemalige Gemeinde hatte zuletzt 798 Einwohner.[en] Geistthal
Geistthal is a former municipality in the district of Voitsberg in the Austrian state of Styria. Since the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, it is part of the municipality Geistthal-Södingberg.[2]- [fr] Geistthal
