Seggauberg is a former municipality in the district of Leibnitz in the Austrian state of Styria. Since the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, it is part of the municipality Leibnitz.[2]

Seggauberg lies about 35 km south of Graz between the Sulm valley and the Mur valley.

Seggauberg ist eine ehemalige Gemeinde im Bezirk Leibnitz in Österreich in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Stadt Leibnitz. Sie hatte 951 Einwohner (Stand 1. Jänner 2014) und eine Fläche von 11,04 km² (2015). Die Seehöhe wird mit 300 bis 360 Metern angegeben. Im Rahmen der Gemeindestrukturreform in der Steiermark wurde Seggauberg mit 1. Jänner 2015 mit der Gemeinde Kaindorf an der Sulm in die Stadtgemeinde Leibnitz eingemeindet.[1] Grundlage dafür war das Steiermärkische Gemeindestrukturreformgesetz – StGsrG.[2] Eine Beschwerde, die von Seggauberg gegen die Zusammenlegung beim Verfassungsgerichtshof eingebracht wurde, war nicht erfolgreich.[3]
