Philpott Central State School opened on 6 August 1913. It closed circa 1948.[3] It was on a 4-acre (1.6 ha) site off Shallcross Road (25.5883°S 151.3727°E / -25.5883; 151.3727 (Philpott Central State School (former))).[4][5]
