History


Calvale Provisional School opened on 26 April 1940. In 1947, it became Calvale State School. It closed in 1956. The school was on Calvale Road,[3] but following the construction of the Callide Dam, the school site is now under Lake Callide with the locality boundaries of Dumgree.[4][5]
