Canada Bay liegt etwa 5 bis 12 km westlich des Stadtzentrums von Sydney südlich von Port Jackson. Das Gebiet beinhaltet 28 Stadtteile: Abbotsford, Abbotsford Point, Birkenhead Point, Breakfast Point, Cabarita, Cabarita Junction, Canada Bay, Chiswick, Concord, Concord East, Concord North, Concord Repatriation Hospital, Concord South, Concord West, Drummoyne, Five Dock, Liberty Grove, Mortlake, Rhodes, Rodd Point, Russell Lea, Schnapper Island, Uhrs Point, Wareemba, Yaralla und Teile von Homebush, Strathfield und North Strathfield. Der Verwaltungssitz des Councils befindet sich im Stadtteil Drummoyne am Ostende der LGA.

Verwaltung

Der City of Canada Bay Council hat neun Mitglieder, acht Councillor und ein Vorsitzender und Mayor (Bürgermeister), die von den Bewohnern der LGA gewählt werden. Canada Bay ist nicht in Bezirke untergliedert.

The City of Canada Bay is a local government area in the Inner West of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The city was formed on 1 December 2000, following the merger of Concord and Drummoyne councils. The city covers an area of 19.82 square kilometres (7.65 sq mi) and as at the 2016 census had a resident population of 88,015.[1] The city is ultimately named after Canada Bay, a bay on the Parramatta River.
