Cave-In-Rock est un village du comté de Hardin, dans l'Illinois, aux États-Unis[1]. L'endroit est déjà cité en 1729, sous le nom Caverne dans Le Roc[2]. Le village s'appelait initialement Rock and Cave et avait un bureau postal, sous ce nom. Le il est rebaptisé, officiellement, Cave-In-Rock, en référence aux grottes situées en bordure de la rivière Ohio[2]. Il est incorporé en 1901[3]. Lors du recensement de 2010, le village comptait une population de 318 habitants.

Cave-In-Rock is a village in Hardin County, Illinois, United States. Its principal feature and tourist attraction is nearby Cave-In-Rock, on the banks of the Ohio River. In 1816, the earliest known permanent white settlers arrived and started building a town near the cave. The town was originally known as Rock and Cave, Illinois, with a post office under this name. On October 24, 1849, the town was officially renamed Cave-In-Rock. Cave-In-Rock was incorporated as a village in 1901.[1][3] The population was 318 at the 2010 census.[4]- [fr] Cave-In-Rock
