Bad Steben ist ein Markt im oberfränkischen Landkreis Hof und das höchstgelegene Staatsbad in Bayern. Vor der Verleihung des Titels Königlich Bayerisches Staatsbad wurde der Ort Steben genannt und war das Zentrum des Bergbaus im Frankenwald. Bad Steben gehört zum Hofer Land.
